“Nobody can bring you peace but yourself.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I view peace as a state of tranquility, calm or stillness. It is an inner contentment and alignment within ourselves, it is something that we work on daily! It is not the absence of challenges, rather it is a mindset of resilience and clarity in the midst the trying times. The stronger our peace muscle, the more we experience it.
This time of year can create a lot of expectations, which creates external pressure which can rob of us of our inner peace. Last year at this time I was still recovering from cancer surgery and treatment. I did not have my usual level of energy and I knew I had to pace myself to continue healing. I made the decision to rewrite our holiday traditions and focus on what mattered to us as a family. To loosen “traditions” and the inner dialogue nagging me, “Well, we have always done it this way.” The result is, this year I am really looking forward to embracing some of the newer rituals that we established last year. It will be simplified, less hectic and more meaningful because we will be more present as opposed to mentally ticking off the “to do” list in our heads. Have you discovered for yourself, that peace can be contagious and have a ripple effect? My mood and energy impacts my family, friends and our environment. That is why I focus on simplicity and peace.
Pause:
- When have you experienced peace during the holidays?
- What contributed to that peace?
- How can you incorporate more of that, into this holiday season?
Practical tips to cultivate peace:
“When things change inside you, things change around you.” – Unknown

- Peace is about carving out times to check in and ask yourself: What do I need right now? How can I show myself kindness in this moment?
- Spend time before January 1st reflecting and determining what you desire for 2025.
- Clarify your goals, expectations, and actions to make these things happen.
- Commit to reviewing this blueprint monthly so you can make the appropriate adjustments. Regular attention to this step will help you keep things simple so you have the stamina to create what you truly desire!
Remember; peace doesn’t mean escaping from life’s busyness—it’s learning to approach it differently. It’s turning down the volume of the distractions and tuning into what truly matters. Peace looks like using our head, following our heart and trusting our gut! Peace is a gift we give ourselves every day. And it starts with simple choices: slowing down, breathing deeply, and letting go of what doesn’t serve us.
PQ – Positive Intelligence:
In January I will be starting small groups containing 5 women in each group, who want to strengthen their ability to shift from negative patterns of thinking to more positive, constructive thought processes. The PQ modality I am weaving into my business is based on the idea that we all have “saboteurs” in our head. These negative voices or habits that create havoc, self-doubt, fear and stress. Our saboteurs rob our peace, undermine our performance, happiness, and relationships; causing us to burnout or lose our stamina to “stay the course.” If this sounds familiar, I have good news for you. I am utilizing an insightful, complimentary PQ Discovery session for those of you who are spinning your wheels and are frustrated, women who want a solution to this barrage of unhelpful inner dialogue.
Below is the link to create time in your schedule for a 45-minute session to identify what is holding you back from your desired success.
Let me help you cultivate your personal wealth potential and SILENCE your inner critic’s incessant yammering. Let’s supports your desire for peace, fulfillment, rich relationships, connection and freedom in 2025!
